Bamond Civil Engineering was established in 1981 and has successfully undertaken a wide range of contracts for the Private Sector as well as the Welsh Assembly Government and Local Authorities, earning a reputation for quality workmanship, reliability, financial stability and integrity in the pursuit of its operations. Projects undertaken include earthworks, water supply and drainage systems, pumping stations, flood alleviation schemes, reinforced concrete works, playgrounds, bus stops, footpath and carriageway construction (including signing, lighting and road marking), surfacing and streetscaping schemes (involving both hard and soft landscaping) and bridge works

All staff undertake Health & Safety training, Chartered Engineers manage the contracts, supervisors have City & Guilds qualifications as required by the Street Works Regulations of 1992, and operatives hold CSCS cards.

The in-house development and implementation of a Quality Management System meeting the requirements of BS EN ISO9002, and the ability to respond to the increased technical demands of the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations, further enhance its capacity to provide an excellent service to clients through the commitment and expertise of its staff.

Although most schemes undertaken have been within a fifty mile radius of its Cardiff base, enquiries for large schemes farther afield are also welcome.
